‘We honestly couldn’t be happier with our photos, it captures us all in our natural element and they are the most beautiful reminder of our special day.’

Photographs That Tell Your Story

Looking for amazing photographs to remember your big day, but you want them to feel natural rather than overly posed or contrived? Do you hate that feeling of knowing there’s a camera on you? Do you want photos which tell the story of your day, not the generic photos people are used to?

Welcome to weddings by F.D.Young Photography.

My Style

I am a storyteller by nature, it’s what I’ve done in some form or another my whole life. That is why I love photography. Shooting weddings is the most pure form of this, it’s the chance to capture your story, and give you images that tell the story of your love, your amazing day and the joy it brings.

It’s this belief that drives my style. I want to capture your story in the purest, most natural and true to life way which I can. That means I don’t try to contort you or your guests, or try and run the day. For me, the best and most memorable images are almost always taken when people are comfortable with my presence and are able to completely forget that I, or the camera, are present. It is why I also like to keep the group photos and couple’s portraits (should you choose to have these) to around half an hour, so that you can go out and enjoy your wedding day. After all, that is the important bit.

My name is Fraser and I have the best job in the world.

Growing up with a camera in my hand I always swore I would never shoot a wedding… that was until shot my first one, and now I’m hooked. There is nothing quite as rewarding as the moment couples see their photos for the first time. That feeling, that sheer joy, is why I gave up my career in television to found F.D.Young Photography.

‘We were able to meet Fraser a couple of times before the wedding and he was so calm, collected and personable we found ourselves totally at ease with him.’
