Royal Mile Wedding | Tom and Lauren

Covid-19 forced a lot of couples to make changes to their original wedding day. We saw a big rise in micro weddings and elopements this year. These couples didn’t want to wait or postpone their wedding day! They were ready to say I do and chose to do so with their closest family and friends. And you really can’t beat a wedding on the Royal Mile!

Wedding on the Royal Mile

Tom and Lauren had originally planned their wedding down in England however with the ever changing covid-19 rules and restrictions, they decide to get married in Edinburgh with a few of their family and friends. Their ceremony took place in the gorgeous Edinburgh City Chambers – placing their wedding right in the middle of Edinburgh Old Town and the Royal Mile and fitting perfectly with our silver wedding package.

Vintage Taxi tour of Edinburgh

After the wedding ceremony we went on a tour around Edinburgh for their bride and groom official photos in a beautiful vintage taxi from One Fare Day Vintage Taxi Hire.

“There are no words to describe how astounded we were by Fraser. From the very beginning the attention to detail was phenomenal, he really does go above and beyond to ensure every moment is captured.”

Our first stop for photos was Waverley Bridge. Looking out over Princes Street gardens with views on Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile in the background. Having your wedding in Edinburgh truly open you up a world of amazing photo opportunities!

Next stop, Princes Street Gardens! Lauren couldn’t help getting flooded with compliments while we were walking around and who can blame them. She looked stunning in her Gatsby style wedding dress from Lavelle Bridal Couture.

“Since receiving our final gallery we must have looked through the pictures 1000 times. Each time we fall more in love with the pictures and we’re instantly taken back to our special day.”
